This is the list of users who can connect to the website account via SFTP.  This allows the addition, removal, and general manipulation of the files on the website.  Entries should be users’ name.# accounts and instructions for using the SFTP service can be found here.

Users do not need to be given full access to the entire site.  By setting the chroot to the relative path within the website account they can be restricted to only the sections of the website they are allowed to change.  For example, setting someone’s chroot as / gives them full control of the site whereas setting it to /htdocs/blog restricts access to only the content under http://yourwebsite.osu.edu/blog/.
